Harlequins Women have discovered their upcoming fixtures in the Allianz Premier 15s and Allianz Cup with fixtures released today.

Due to this Autumn’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand, the Premier 15s will not begin until November - after the World Cup has ended.

Instead, the season will begin with five rounds of the Allianz Cup, where the Quins will face reigning champions Exeter Chiefs in their group.

Amy Turner’s side have also been drawn against Gloucester-Hartpury, University of Worcester Warriors and DMP Sharks.

Quins will travel to Worcester to start their Allianz Cup campaign before hosting Gloucester-Hartpury in their first home match of the season.

In the Allianz Premier 15s, the side will host University of Worcester Warriors in their opening league match of the 2022/23 season on either the 19th or 20th October.

The following weekend Quins will travel to Loughborough Lightning for their first away match of the league season, before a crunch London derby at home against Saracens Women.

Quins will then host Sale Sharks in Round 4, with it hoped that the side will once again play a double-header alongside the men’s team at Twickenham Stadium over the Christmas period.

Their last match of the regular season will be against Wasps, but Harlequins will be aiming to have a play-off spot sewn up long before then.

Quins reached the playoff semi-finals last season where they lost to eventual champions Saracens.

The fixture announcements come just a day after the club confirmed the signing of Australian star Emily Chancellor from New South Wales Waratahs.

Chancellor will join up with the squad following the conclusion of the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
