A HANWELL man is beginning four and a half years in jail for stabbing a woman in Acton.
Luke Rose, 19, of Shakespeare Road, W7 had been convicted at the Old Bailey last week.
The jury heard that Rose had gone to an address in Acton with members of his family and friends in January.
An argument ensued, which resulted in him repeatedly stabbing a 23-year-old woman, who was known to him, before fleeing the scene.
Police and an ambulance crew found the victim lying on a bed with multiple stab wounds to her body.

One of the wounds had lacerated her left kidney and left her requiring immediate surgery.
Rose was arrested later that day at his home and charged the following day.
Det Con Mitesh Mulji, who led the investigation, said: “Rose has failed to admit his actions that night nor has he shown any remorse for the injuries he inflicted.
“We are pleased the jury carefully considered the evidence in front of them and were able to see through his lies.
“This was a complex investigation and we hope this sentence demonstrates our commitment to pursuing violent individuals through the courts, even in circumstances where victims are reluctant to support a prosecution.”
