Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Warburton has maintained that everything is still to play for as his side continues to fight for a play-off place when they take on Stoke City on Saturday.

The Rs head to the bet365 Stadium this weekend knowing that only wins can give them any hope of securing a play-off place with just three games left to play.

QPR sit in 10th position with 63 points, just three points off Sheffield United who occupy the final play-off place, with Stoke five points behind their opponents on Saturday.

"We have targets in mind - two wins takes us past last year's points total," Warburton said. "What we have to do is post 72 points and see where that takes us.

“It’s still all to play for.”

The 59-year-old acknowledged that Saturday’s game will be difficult as Stoke City, a side who have won four of their last six games, are coming off the back of beating Blackburn Rovers, one of QPR’s play-off rivals.

"There’s no lack of respect and there’s no lack of preparation, Saturday will be a stern test - Stoke had a good result and clean sheet against Blackburn last time out.

“They have got experienced players such as the likes of Jagielka, Allen and, Fletcher, with the added pace and power of Brown and Campbell.

"We've got to recognise that, but we know we have quality as well and we have to go there without fear and move the ball well.

"We have to be on the front foot and aggressive in our approach. We'll take confidence, of course, from our last two performances [against Derby County and Huddersfield Town] and we know what we have to do.

“We have to go there in a professional manner and try and dominate the football.”

Warburton confirmed that full-back Moses Odubajo will not be travelling with the squad and will be out for the remainder of the season after picking up a calf injury in last week’s 1-0 win over Derby, while Lee Wallace will also miss the trip.

However, he did reveal that Yoann Barbet and Jeff Hendrick could make the squad if they pass late fitness tests.
