South African loosehead prop Dylan Smith will make his debut for Ealing Trailfinders away at Cornish Pirates on Sunday.

The Trailfinders haven't played since the opening round of fixtures when they beat Hartpury RFC 54-20 in West London.

The Pirates have one win and one defeat to their name after they beat Richmond 33-18 in the opening round only to lose to Hartpury 37-18 last week.

The rest of the tight five retain their positions, with Jan-Henning Campher and Kyle Whyte completing the front row and Bobby de Wee and Harry Casson packing down behind them.

After crossing the whitewash in the victory over Hartpury, Malon Al-Jiboori keeps his place at blindside flanker in the back row.

Simon Uzokwe starts at openside flanker, and Rayn Smid once again captains the side from number 8.

The half-backs and centres remain unchanged for Trailfinders' second match of the season, with Craig Hampson starting at scrum-half and Craig Willis pulling the strings from fly-half, while Pat Howard and Max Bodilly start at inside and outside centre.

James Cordy-Redden returns to an otherwise unchanged back three, with Angus Kernohan and David Johnston retaining their places in the starting fifteen.

Scrum-half replacement Jordan Burns has scored on his last three visits to Mennaye Field, and new signing Reuben Bird-Tulloch will be looking to build on his performance from the opening round.

The Pirates have moved Tommy Wyatt to the right-wing, with Joe Elderkin selected at inside centre, while scrum-half Tom Kessell will be making his first league start since returning to the club.

The Trailfinders' last visit to the Pirates was in April earlier this year, and with 30 minutes left, there were just two points separating the sides before the Trailfinders pulled away, scoring four tries to secure the win.

Sara Cox, who made history last Saturday as she became the first woman to referee a Premiership Rugby fixture when she oversaw Harlequins' victory against Worcester Warriors, takes charge of another vital contest.
