Thomas Frank is more worried about Brentford’s games against Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End than he is about Monday’s visit from promotion-hopefuls Leeds United.

The Bees boss took his side to Elland Road last October, when Leeds were top of the table, and earned a 1-1 draw.

Now he says he is certain that when his players welcome Marco Bielsa’s men to Griffin Park, they will give a good account of themselves.

Brentford have three games left of the season with an away trip to relegated Bolton to follow Monday’s match next weekend before a visit from Preston on the final day.

“For us it is about putting in a good performance, getting some consistency and getting at least a point out of the game but I am 100 percent sure we will perform on Monday – I am more worried about Bolton and Preston,” said Frank.

“On the ball we still need to try and dominate but it will be different against Leeds because they press higher – so that will be difficult.

“It would be fantastic to put in a good performance and hopefully get a win because when we went to Elland Road earlier we played a top game and I thought we deserved to win.

“It is actually not a problem for us to play the top teams so I am pretty sure we will play a top game but I not sure whether we will win or not.”
