Harlequins have performed well in different areas in each of the first two weeks of the Gallagher Premiership season – now it’s up to them to put it all together according to new director of rugby Paul Gustard.

Quins made a flying start to life under the former England defence coach when they thumped Sale in the opening week of the season, but they had to settle for a losing bonus point in defeat to Northampton Saints last Friday.

Now they take on a Bath side which is still winless after two games and Gustard has urged his team to show the courage they have over the first two weeks of the campaign.

He said: “Both Gallagher Premiership games have shown different areas of good rugby for us and the more we exhibit those characteristics and behaviours, the more competitive we will become.

“The coaching team has been proud of the courage we have shown in these matches to play the way that all Harlequins supporters can relate to and be proud of.

“Bath have a talented and intelligent coaching group lead by Todd Blackadder who I respect greatly and we are looking forward to the challenge that they will pose.”

Gustard has made two changes to the Quins side that lost at Franklin’s Gardens, both of those coming in the pack.

Dino Lamb gets the nod in the second row, replacing Ben Glynn, while in the back row Luke Wallace starts at blindside flanker in place of Archie White.

There are two changes on the bench where Joe Marler, a late withdrawal a week ago, returns alongside Dave Ward as front-row cover.

Bath have made three changes to their team after a high-scoring draw with Gloucester last Saturday.

Keeping his place is former Harlequins centre Jamie Roberts in a team captained by Welsh second row Luke Charteris.
