THOUSANDS of Polish UK residents will be meeting in Ealing next month for a festival celebrating Polish life and culture.

Organised by the Federation of Poles in Great Britain, the event will take place on Sunday, September 10.

It will be the eigth time the festival has been held in the borough, which has one of the largest Polish communities in the country.

The festival at the Sports Club, Park View Road, Ealing, will provide a snapshot of the life of the Polish community in Ealing and of Polish culture generally.

There will be traditional Polish folk dancing and music and the event will also feature Kasia Kowalska, one of the country's most famous singers.

Stalls selling books, artefacts and Polish food will keep everyone entertained.

Children under six enter for free, under 16s £3, adults £5 and a family ticket admitting two adults and up to four children costs £15.
