POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an alleged attempted murder in Southall.
Myagmardorj Purev, 52, of Carlyle Avenue, Southall, has been charged with the attempted murder of a 30-year-old man following an incident which occurred on Saturday, September 17. He hasbeen remanded in custody to appear at the Central Criminal Court for a plea and direction hearing on December 20.
Ealing Borough police were called to a disturbance in Carlyle Avenue at 1am on Saturday, September 17 and say Purev was arrested at around 6.30am. Police want information about his whereabouts between 1am and 6am.
Officers also arrested a 35-year-old male at the scene, but he was released without charge.
