NEW branding has been commissioned for Gunnersbury Park & Museum to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
The designs aim to reflect the site’s varied activity and its reputation for community engagement.
Jointly owned by Ealing and Hounslow Councils, its day-to-day management was handed over in 2018 to a community interest company, Gunnersbury Estate CIC.
David Bowler, its CEO, said: “Our organisation is undergoing a moment of transformation, marking its centenary while modernising operations and seeking to strengthen its role at the heart of the local community.
“We wanted a new identity to match our ambition, to highlight our gem of a museum and to inspire a wider audience to visit again and again.
“Wiedemann Lampe [consultants] understood and delivered an identity that will not only inspire visitors but is already galvanising our small but mighty team.”
The central idea driving the rebrand is ‘Life’s Rich Tapestry’, capturing and communicating the character, complexity and richness of Gunnersbury Park & Museum.
