A MILESTONE in transforming the former Elizabeth Arden factory in North Acton was marked last week.
A topping-out ceremony by developer Telford Homes celebrated reaching the highest point of work on the Perfume Factory, as it will be known, in Wales Farm Road.
There will be 376 apartments across three residential towers, comprising 12-, 16- and 25- storeys. It is expected to be complete by the end of 2024.
The factory was designed by Wallis Gilbert & Partners in 1939 for the iconic fragrance Red Door.
To honour the site's history, a sculpture of a red door will be a prominent feature.
