SIZZLING with energy, comedy and musical excellence, the St Augustine’s Priory production of Sister Act is being performed at the Watermans Arts Centre, Brentford, from March 22-24.

The musical tells how singer Deloris Van Cartier takes refuge in a convent after witnessing her gangster boyfriend murder one of his cronies.

In the convent, Deloris helps the nuns to find their singing voice, thereby saving the convent and discovering a purpose to her own life.

Sister Act is the final show of the tenure of head teacher Sarah Raffray before she departs to take up a new post in Bangkok.

After ten years at the Catholic independent day school for girls, Mrs Raffray is handing over to current deputy head academic (seniors) Christine Macallister.
