ROUTINE hip and knee replacements for patients across Hillingdon and Ealing are to be brought together in a centre of excellence.
A proposal to bring together most inpatient orthopaedic surgery in north west London at Central Middlesex Hospital, Park Royal, was approved this week.
It follows feedback from a 13-week public consultation of almost 2,000 people that closed this year.
The four acute NHS trusts involved aim to improve quality and reduce long waiting times.
