ABANDONED and damaged cars and vans were removed in a clear-up of commercial areas near the North Circular at Hanger Hill, Ealing, on Monday (6).
Cllr Athena Zissimos liaised with police and the borough’s Streets Enforcement team on the initiative.
Previous work by Cllr Zissimos led to 20 vehicles being removed.
Business owners have been concerned at the additional clutter and obstructions caused by old vehicles, potentially blocking access and encouraging fly tipping.
Cllr Zissimos, the Lib-Dem spokesperson for the Environment, said: “Businesses as well as residents welcome a road that is passable, and which emergency services can use with ease, if necessary.”
