A TOPPING Out ceremony on Friday (17) marked a significant milestone at a development of more than 350 new homes in Hanwell.
Representatives from A2Dominion Housing association and developer Higgins Group oversaw the structural frame completion of Phase 2 at Hanwell Square in Boston Road.
This phase comprises 169 flats, of which 110 will be available for private sale, 20 for shared ownership and 39 for affordable rent.
Completion of the project is expected in the summer of 2024.
It features a village square and landscaped courtyards, drawing together flats, shops and businesses.
The development will eventually provide 360 homes, with a mix of studio, one-, two- and three- bedroom flats.
Phase 1 of 191 homes was completed in January , with the first residents moving in this month.
Hanwell Square is ideally a few minutes away from the rail station, now served by the Elizabeth Line.
