PUPILS at Little Ealing Primary School were treated to a coaching clinic by Britain’s longest-serving player in the NFL, Efe Obada.

The Washington Commanders defensive end visited the Weymouth Avenue school before pupils set off to represent the UK in the NFL Flag International Championships in Las Vegas.

Little Ealing booked their ticket with victory at the 2022 NFL Flag National Championship at Loughborough University in June.

In Vegas, the pupils will play against the corresponding national champions from Canada, Ghana and Mexico.

NFL Flag is a non-contact format of American football and is played in 380 schools by 23,000 pupils across the country. Boys and girls can play the game together.

Little Ealing has benefited from the NFL providing free training and equipment to primary and secondary schools.

Bobby Behzadi, head of PE, said: “We have a great opportunity to showcase what we have been working on for the last seven months.”
