IT might be cold outside, but Gunnersbury Park aims to chase away the winter blues in its museum.

It will be celebrating the ancient tradition of ‘wassailing’, chasing away any mischievous spirits that might be lurking in the Gunnersbury trees.

Wassailing the Trees on Saturday, January 21, 2.30-4pm celebrates an ancient tradition in Gunnersbury’s own orchard.

There will be hot drinks, apple cake and storytelling before the magical spirits of the fruit trees are awakened to wish visitors a good year to come.

The January-March listings as usual feature a wide range of activities for youngsters, adults and families.

Ever heard of Dr Eureka, Rhino Hero or Loony Quest? These are just a few of the games you can play with family and friends at a free Boardgaming Meetup on Sunday, February 5, 1-3.30pm.
