EALING Broadway shopping centre will welcome a new independent vegan bakery, Benji’s Buns, this Saturday (16).
Located in Oak Road, the 100% vegan bakery is the first of its kind in the town, with founder Ben Michael turning his hand to baking following the pandemic.
After a series of digestive health problems, which left him in hospital during the first lockdown, Ben decided to embark on a baking journey, to help him beat his fear of food.
Inspired by his love of cinnamon rolls, he created a range of buns, with flavours ranging from original glazed to vanilla and chocolate. Ben will be launching a Biscoff Bun this Saturday to celebrate the bakery’s opening.
He will be serving freshly-baked buns every day in the new Ealing Broadway bakery, to complement his vegan beverages.
Benji’s Buns is open seven days a week at Ealing Broadway from 10am-6pm on Monday, 8-6 Tuesday to Saturday, and 10am-6pm on Sundays.
