EALING borough had the second highest number of street parties in London over the Jubilee weekend.
In the Ealing Central and Acton constituency alone, there were 80 and Rupa Huq MP took to her bike to attend at least six on each of the four days.
She began at the Pavilion Cafe in North Acton Playing Fields, alongside the Labour councillors for Acton, Hodan Haili, Dan Crawford and Blerina Hashani.
She attended a civic church service on the theme of public service and duty at Christ the Saviour in Ealing, alongside Peter Mason, leader of Ealing Council and Mayor, Cllr Mohinder Midha.
Some of the other parties she attended included Acton Community Centre, Waldemar Avenue, Ranleagh Road and Gordon Road, Ealing, plus Mill Hill Gardens, Acton.
Ms Huq said: "What a momentous occasion it was to come together after the past two years of being stuck indoors. A huge well done to everyone in our communities.”
