PLANNING approval has been given by Ealing councillors for the next three phases at Acton Gardens.
A further 215 homes, half of them classified as affordable, will now be built at the £800m regenerated former South Acton estate.
The site will complete the Enfield Road character area, which links Acton Gardens with Acton Town station and Bollo Lane.
As well as the new homes, new public spaces are also being created, including a courtyard garden.
Work is expected to begin in late summer with the first homes due for release in 2024.
Acton Gardens is a 52-acre redevelopment of the former South Acton estate by Countryside and L&Q housing association.
