Five escape blaze in Southall house
FIRE crews tackled a house blaze in St Joseph's Drive, Southall, this afternoon (9).
Half of the loft in a mid-terrace house was damaged. Five people left the building before the brigade arrived and there were no reports of any injuries.
The brigade was called at 2.23 and the fire was under control by 4pm. Four engines and around 25 crew from Southall, Ealing, Hayes and Hillingdon were at the scene.
The cause is under investigation.
