CO-OP opened its newest food store today (3) in Greenford, following a £715,000 investment which has created 14 jobs.
Manager Jigar Patel was joined by Ealing North MP James Murray and children from Horsenden Primary School for the official unveiling.
The 2,800 sq ft store, powered by 100% renewable electricity, is in Berkeley Avenue, off Oldfield Lane.
It includes a bakery, free ATM, hot food and Fairtrade coffee dispenser, alongside a focus on fresh, healthy products.
The store is also a collection point for people wishing to donate to Ealing Foodbank.
Online delivery of groceries is available through the Deliveroo app.
