Southall Christmas event starts with lantern procession
PEOPLE in Southall and beyond are invited to The Green Quarter for a Christmas celebration next Wednesday (1) at 6pm.
Events will start with a scenic lantern procession led by schoolchildren through the Berkeley development on the site of the former gasworks.
This will end at Central Gardens, where the Christmas tree lights will be switched on.
Hot food, mulled wine and hot chocolate will be on offer, with visitors having the chance to use a large snow globe for seasonal photos. Carol singing will round off the festivities.
The procession will begin outside the marketing suite, opposite Southall station.
