ST Benedict’s School in Ealing remembered those who gave their lives in two world wars and other conflicts, at its annual Remembrance Service today (11).
Headmaster Andrew Johnson, head boy Rhodri Darwent, head girl Milica Kostic and the head of the Combined Cadet Force, Benjamin Ziprin, laid wreaths before the altar.
Pie Jesu, from Fauré’s Requiem, was sung by George Majcherczyk-Olczak (Year 9) and the Last Post was played by Lydia Ramsden (Year 9).
Twenty-one St Benedict's alumni died in the First World War and 47 were killed in the World War Two.
