STAFF working at Berkeley developments in Southall, Birmingham and Oxford have raised more than £1,000 for Mencap – their new Community Partner – through a fundraising challenge.
It marks the launch of a three-year partnership between the home builder and the learning disability charity.
Berkeley employees were asked to complete Miles for Mencap and a collective goal of 500 miles was set across the three company offices.
At The Green Quarter, the 3,750-homes site in Southall, the team ran together from the western end of the development and around Southall, finishing at Ealing Mencap’s office.
Mencap was selected as the official charity partner following a vote by staff, who will work with Mencap teams to volunteer and raise funds.
