BUDDING writers from Ark Acton Academy showcased their skills by performing a collection of their writing in front of family and friends at the end of term.
Several students read in their mother tongue.
The Year 7 cohort are on the All Write Now programme, which helps young people’s creativity and boosts their writing confidence.
Principal Oli Knight said: “Our students speak every language, so we are a truly global community, and we embrace this.
“I know some students were a bit nervous reading in front of an audience, but teachers and their peers were on hand to support and cheer them on.
