EALING Times readers are being asked to suggest a name for a new multi-use cinema set to open at The Broadway next Spring.

Operators the Really Local Group are currently transforming the Karma Club, located on the ground floor and basement of The Broadway, into the first independent cinema to open in the town in more than a decade.

The three-screen cinema is also seen as a space where grassroots comedy, music and theatre can thrive.

To involve the Ealing community, the Really Local Group is asking people to come up with a name for the venue.

If you would like to take part, tweet the operators at @reallylocalgrp with your suggestion by Sunday, November 21.

The winner will receive an annual membership, complete with free cinema tickets, and further discounted tickets, food, and drink, as well as an invitation to the exclusive launch party with 10 friends.

Preston Benson, founder of the Really Local Group, said: “The borough has a fantastic arts and film heritage which I’m sure will be reflected in the suggestions.”
