THE future of Ealing’s half-marathon, along with its supporting events the Ealing Mini Mile, Osterley Park 10K and the Ealing Mile, is now secure.

RaceNation Events is partnering with EHM Legacy, the community interest company behind the races, to keep them running into the future.

Voted the UK’s best half marathon three years in a row, the Ealing Half, which takes place this Sunday (26), is organised for the benefit of the community, ploughing surplus funds into local projects.

From next month, RaceNation will be responsible for all EHM Legacy events, sharing profits and securing the race’s future after uncertainty caused by the pandemic.

RaceNation Events will employ the small organising team while EHM Legacy Board members will continue as advisers and supporters.

As a London 2012 legacy event, the Ealing Half has raised more than £2.5m for charity.

Founder Kelvin Walker said: “Our new partnership will ensure our events keep running with community values firmly at their core.”
