A SUMMER holiday reading campaign is being launched by Ealing Broadway shopping centre.
Read More, Feel Better is designed to keep children reading, with advice for parents on the Ealing Broadway website, including how to create an effective reading space at home.
The centre, along with the National Literacy Trust, will also be hosting a live story-telling session for children aged 5-11 at 11am on Wednesday, August 11. Details will follow on Ealing Broadway’s social media.
The centre has also donated 100 books to Contact Ealing as part of the campaign.
Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, said: “Our research shows that almost half of children across the country said reading helps them relax and feel better.”
