MORE than £650,000 has been awarded to 15 community projects in Ealing since January by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Awards were made as communities were seeking to rebuild and reconnect during and after the winter lockdown.

Those benefiting were the JS Community Association in Southall, Wsha (supporting Kurdish and other communities), The Store Cupboard, Kids’ Cookery School in Acton, West London Equality Centre, Education and Skills Development Group, the Log Cabin, Alburouge CIC, Active Successful Engagement (ASE), Dual Diagnosis Anonymous, Hanwell Community Hall, VOD International, MindFood CIO, Trinity Evangelistic Ministry and Dementia Concern.

The awards ranged from £67,000 to under £5,000.
