AHEAD of National Bike Week (May 30-June 5), Ealing Broadway shopping centre has officially opened its Ride&Park with the help of Rupa Huq MP.
Located on the ground floor, next to Chantal Cafe in St Saviour’s Walk, it offers visitors a safe space to store their bicycles and scooters for free for up to 48 hours.
The MP for Ealing Central joined centre director Andrew Rollings for the opening ceremony.
Ride&Park is fitted with CCTV and provides 48 bike spaces and 10 for scooters, as well as folding bike lockers and a repair station, where visitors can mend a punctured tyre with spanners and tyre levers.
Ealing Broadway has also partnered with Ealing Cycling Campaign, a branch of the London Cycling Campaign, which has created a map of recommended cycling paths to the centre.
