Marching on: the hospices lottery continues to help fund palliative care
MORE than £15m has now gone to charities from the Hospice Lottery Partnership since 1997.
Beneficiaries include the Michael Sobell Hospice at Northwood, Harlington and South Bucks hospices.
David Griffiths, CEO of The Hospice Lottery Partnership, said: “We could not have achieved this milestone without our loyal long-term players.
“The last year has been particularly challenging and we have been touched by the generosity and compassion that our players have shown.”
Supporters of The Hospice Lottery raise money via a weekly lottery and seasonal superdraws.
The weekly lottery has a top prize of £1,000.
