A STUDENT pianist in Ealing will see his talents come to life on stage in America after writing a musical.
Francesco Redica, of the University of West London, first showed his composing talents by playing Beethoven on the keypad of his mother’s mobile phone at the age of just 10.
He has gone on to write and record an entire musical while still studying for a degree at UWL’s London College of Music.
He wrote the musical Driven with friend Joe Archer and, after attracting attention within the industry, the pair were invited to the States to bring their show to life.
Francesco said: “This project started out as a simple collection of songs, but it’s grown so much we’ve been able to take it to a whole new level.”
He has released a song from the show, All I’ve Ever Wanted on global streaming platforms as he awaits performance dates for the musical.
