A PARTNERSHIP between Ealing Council and Hawk Training aims to offer traineeships for those aged 19-24 in the borough.
Hawk received extra government funding to triple the number of trainees in a bid to reignite the economy.
A traineeship is a skills development programme that includes a work placement, lasting anywhere between eight weeks and a year.
Angela McKeever, Ealing’s Assistant Director of Employment and Skills, said: “We are hoping our partnership will provide young people with an easier pathway to find jobs.”
Under the scheme, firms in England will be given £1,000 for each new work experience place they offer, up to a maximum of 10 per region.
