STAFF at Metro Bank in Uxbridge have been raising awareness of food poverty by collecting for Hillingdon Foodbank.
They have also hosted regular ‘huddles’ highlighting the different circumstances in which people might need to use a food bank, for instance when someone is unable to work due to an injury.
Mohamed Khan, customer service representative at Metro Bank, who helped organised the appeal, said: “Colleagues made food donations as well as living essentials, including baby toiletries and sanitary and hygiene products. Each of the team also made cash donations.”
