PLANS to accelerate building work at Old Oak and Park Royal were today (6) submitted.
A revised draft Local Plan aims to provide more than 25,000 homes and tens of thousands of jobs on land around the HS2 station at Old Oak Common.
Some homes are already under construction, but this latest move aims to speed up the process by moving the focus to land around the new HS2 station at Old Oak Common.
The Mayor’s Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) is working with the three neighbouring boroughs, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham and Brent.
The draft will be considered by a Government planning inspector and could be adopted by the end of this year.
