FOOD charity City Harvest is scaling up its operations across London with additional working space in Acton.

It collects surplus food from restaurants, grocers, manufacturers, wholesalers, hotels and caterers, delivering nourishing meals to vulnerable people across London.

City Harvest is taking further space provided by SEGRO at its Acton Park estate at The Vale.

Laura Winningham, CEO of City Harvest, said: “As this crisis continues longer than anyone expected, SEGRO have been so much more than a landlord – they’ve been a true partner.”

Neil Impiazzi, Partnership Development Director at SEGRO, said: “Giving back to the communities where we have a presence has been at the heart of our business for over a century.”
