BOOTS today (19) launched its first COVID-19 vaccination site in London at its Greenford store, where its pharmacists will administer the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.

Area manager Parag Oza said: “The store is conveniently located and accessible, and we look forward to welcoming patients over the coming days and weeks.”

James Murray, the Ealing North MP, visited the store to see the first vaccinations being administered.

He said: “I have been working with the NHS and Boots to get more vaccination sites open as close to where people in my constituency live.”

Patients will be invited directly by the NHS to book their appointment at Boots Greenford, 40-42 The Broadway.
