TODAY is the final day of one of the largest consultations ever undertaken in Ealing.
For the past three months residents in the borough have been giving their views on a proposal to redevelop the Arcadia shopping centre with new stores and a 40-storey tower dubbed The Leaf.
More than 60,000 homes across Ealing have received letters about the consultation, and an action group called Save Ealing's Centre has been formed to oppose the proposals.
The plans, which were submitted in September, will come before a council planning committee in early 2008.
