AN Acton man has been sent to prison for three years after he was caught dealing heroin and crack cocaine.

Steven Hue, 49, of Horn Lane, admitted four counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and was sentenced today (4) at Isleworth Crown Court.

Officers from the Violent Crime Taskforce were in Acton Park on proactive patrol in August when they came across a small group of men who appeared to be dealing drugs.

Police saw what looked like drugs wrapped in cling film in Hue’s hands. He was then seen to throw a bag over a fence.

An officer retrieved the bag and Hue was detained for a search. He was found to have multiple wraps of drugs, more than £80 in cash and a wrap of cannabis secreted in his left sock.

During his interview, Hue answered no comment to all questions put to him.

Det Sgt Mark Kelleher said: “Officers are tackling drugs and violence every day. The message should be very clear: we are out day and night using lawful tactics, including stop and search, to keep London safe.”
