LEISURE centres in Ealing* have reopened following changes in COVID-19 restrictions in London.
Centres managed by sports and leisure operator Everyone Active in partnership with Ealing Council reopened their doors today (2) following a month’s closure.
However, restrictions mean some activities are not available at some centres.
Phil Edwards, Everyone Active contract manager, said: “It is very important to give people the opportunity to resume activity and exercise in their leisure centre, particularly during the winter months.
"This will go a long way to maintaining the good health of communities.”
*Acton Centre, Elthorne Sports Centre, Greenford Sports Centre, Perivale Park Athletics Track, Reynolds Sports Centre, Twyford Sports Centre, Dormers Wells Leisure Centre, Northolt Leisure Centre, Southall Sports Centre and the gym at Brent Valley Golf Course and Fitness Centre.
