Quakers strolled to a comfortable 4-0 away win at Nethermoor, their third successive away victory in league and cup, and a perfect response to their defeat by Telford last Saturday.
Erico Sousa broke away and had a left foot shot touched over the bar by keeper Brad Wade early on, then Will Hatfield, who scored in the corresponding game last year, hit the top of the bar with a 25 yarder.
The loss of Michael Liddle with an ankle injury didn’t deter Quakers, and they took the lead from the spot on 26 minutes when Dan Maguire was fouled as he picked up an Omar Holness pass, and Adam Campbell scored.
They scored a deserved second just before the break. Joe Wheatley powered in from the left and had two shots charged down, before Maguire headed the ball over the line.
It was 3-0 on 48 minutes when Sousa escaped down the right and drove the ball into the six yard box for Maguire to tap in, then on 74 minutes Sousa scored the goal of the game, when he received a pass from Campbell, swivelled, and fired into the top corner.
Guiseley pulled a goal back with a free kick from Brad Nicholson with six minutes left.
