Police believe the death of a woman at a Chilterns beauty spot, which has sparked a murder probe, was "not a random attack".

The body of a woman in her sixties was found in woodland at Watlington Hill on Friday evening hours after a man was reportedly seen "acting suspiciously" near the Fox and Hounds pub in Christmas Common.

A man, 23, has been arrested on suspicion of murder but he is currently in hospital being treated for serious injuries.
