TWO Ealing schools were officially opened this week by the Bishop of London on their permanent sites.
Despite delays and difficulties caused by COVID, the buildings at Ada Lovelace C of E High School in Park View Road, Hanger Hill, and Ealing Fields High in Little Ealing Lane were completed in time for the current academic year.
Following a tour of each school, the Rt Rev Sarah Mullally led a service of dedication attended by a limited number of guests, including student, staff and governors from each of the schools, which are part of the Twyford C of E Academies Trust.
The Bishop congratulated all those involved in the projects, from the architects and developers to the staff and students.
Dame Alice Hudson, executive head, added: βIt was wonderful to have had the Bishop officially bless our two new schools in their new buildings which are already providing outstanding learning environments for our students.β
