A WREXHAM pub has shut for a fortnight after its landlady tested positive for coronavirus.
The Cross Foxes Hotel in Coedpoeth announced on social media that its landlady registered a positive test on Saturday (September 26).
The pub, situated on the high street, says it is "fully complying" with the track and trace system and that it will undergo a deep clean prior to reopening.
A statement from the pub said: "We took the decision to close as soon as possible as a precaution; as everyone's safety is our priority, however with a positive result now given we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our community safe.
"We are fully complying with the track and trace process and will undertake a deep clean before reopening.
"We apologise for any inconvenience. Stay safe everyone."
