A WREXHAM teenager was held up at knifepoint by a man said to be seeking drugs.
The incident occurred on Queensway Court, Queensway at about 10pm on Sunday.
It saw 17-year-old Jake Skimmings approached by a man dressed in black wearing a black face mask asking him if he knew where to get drugs.
Mr Skimmings is said to have been grabbed by the man who pulled a knife on him and held it pointing it into his back.
He said: "I could feel the sharpness of it but I just tried to remain as calm as possible.
"He just kept saying I need to take him to get drugs and I just said I didn't know where to get them.
"I managed to get free and just ran away as fast as I could."
Mr Skimmings says the incident has already had a profound effect on him and where he goes at night.
He said: "It was pretty traumatic and I'm definitely not going out on my own again in Queensway at that time of night.
"It was only when I got home and had time to think that I realised how close I was to potentially being stabbed."
North Wales Police is investigating the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said: "A 10.15pm on September 20 a report was made that on Queensway Court a youth was threatened.
"No injuries or robbery occurred."
