A MAN has been captured in an interesting predicament.

The strange sight was discovered on Google Maps.

The tool, which was launched in 2007, allows people to navigate the globe and discover unreachable locations.

It has even caught couples in the middle of acts like romantic proposals.

But in the latest discovery, users have spotted something very odd.

The scene unfolds in Ealing, London next to The Grove pub.

Nothing seems out of the ordinary - people can be seen seated outside the pub on a sunny day.

However, it’s the man located close by to the pub that caught people’s attention.

The man in question can be seen dressed in a green shirt, navy shorts with matching green socks.

His hands are clasped firmly around a lamppost with his legs spread in the air as he precedes to do the splits right in front of the Google Street View camera.

The move was much to the amusement of another passerby, who could be seen in the image walking past the flexible stranger with what appears to be a slight smile on his face.

The hilarious image has been shared on Reddit, with many praising the unidentified man’s flexibility.

One user said: “I wish I could do that move - it was probably impromptu too. Impressive!”

Another said: “Thank God he’s wearing long shorts otherwise this camera would’ve got quite a view.”

One of the rules of Google Maps is that people’s faces are blurred out for privacy.

On their website, Google Maps state: “Google takes a number of steps to protect the privacy of individuals when Street View imagery is published to Google Maps.

“We have developed cutting-edge face and license plate blurring technology that is designed to blur identifiable faces and license plates within Google-contributed imagery in Street View.

“If you see that your face or license plate requires additional blurring, or if you would like us to blur your entire house, car, or body, submit a request using the 'Report a problem' tool.

"Please note, however, that once Google blurs an image, the effect is permanent.

"If you submit a request to have your house blurred from Street View imagery, all historical and future images of your house will also be blurred.”
