PEOPLE in Ealing can give a boost this September to three life-saving charities that have been heavily impacted by COVID-19.

Tesco stores across the borough are supporting the Tesco Health Charity Partnership appeal to raise money for Cancer Research UK, the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK from September 1-13.

Tesco customers can make a donation by rounding up their bill in store to the nearest £1 at all manned and self-service checkouts, including pharmacies and petrol stations.

Support will help improve lives like that of Claire-Marie in Ealing.

At just 45, Claire-Marie is living with severe heart failure. The damage to her heart means even the smallest tasks leave her breathless, exhausted and tearful.

BHF researcher Dr Daniel Stuckey and his team are working on an exciting project that has the potential to transform millions of lives.

Breakthroughs like this could bring them closer to a cure for heart failure and a new lease of life for Claire-Marie and others like her.
