A MAN who is accused of stabbing a lorry driver in the stomach outside Whitchurch has been bailed to appear before a crown court.
Conor Jagodzinski, 28, from Accrington, appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court on Monday charged with causing grievous bodily harm and possession of a bladed article, namely a six inch knife in relation to the incident at Wirswall, outside Whitchurch, on Friday, August 14.
No pleas were entered during Monday’s hearing.
District Judge Nicholas Sanders agreed that Jagodzinski – who is a self-employed engineer living with family – be allowed bail on the conditions he is electronically tagged between 8pm and 6am.
He must live at an address in Northfield Road, Rising Bridge, Accrington, and not operate any motor vehicle or enter Cheshire, unless it is for court or solicitors appointments.
The next hearing will be at Chester Crown Court on Monday, September 14.
