TRIBUTES have poured in for an ‘amazing’ mum and well-known barber who died suddenly.

Heartfelt tributes have flooded in for freelance barber, Becky Shaw, from Ulverston who died suddenly on Sunday morning.

A police spokeswoman confirmed they were called at 11.20am on Sunday morning following the sudden death of a woman in her 30s inside an address in Neville Terrace in Ulverston.

The force also confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.

Ms Shaw was described as an ‘amazing mother’ to her two children and a ‘beautiful woman’.

Kaine Ryan knew Ms Shaw for a number of years as his hairdresser and friend.

He said: “She was a amazing mother to both of her kids she raised them to be really good and respectful to everyone.

“I always got Becky to cut my hair because she was really good at it and we always had a laugh in the barbers she worked at

“She came to my mum's house quite a lot for a nice chat with everyone and I was always making Becky and my mum the brews.

“She was amazing and a beautiful woman and I am truly going to miss her so much.”

Ms Shaw worked as a hairdresser at Adonis barbers in Ulverston,

Staff from the shop paid tribute in a post published on social media.

They said: “With an extremely heavy heart it saddens us to inform you that unfortunately Becky Shaw, one of our much loved barbers here at Adonis has sadly passed away.

“I’m sure you can all understand that we are utterly heartbroken with this news.

“Becky was the life and soul of Adonis, she wasn’t just a co-worker she was a friend and we classed her as family to us and many others, she always went above and beyond for everyone.

“Becky started her barbering journey here from the day we opened our doors and has had a vital role in making it the place it is today and I think we can all agree she is going to be extremely missed by all.”

The barbers closed to customers yesterday as a mark of respect and to allow staff to grieve for their colleague.
