A motorist has been taken to hospital after a car crashed into a building.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says it was called around 7.45am this morning (Wednesday) following a road traffic collision in New Road, Croxley Green.
It was reported that a car had collided with a building.
The driver has been taken to Watford General Hospital to be checked over following the crash, while no one else is believed to have been injured.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue says it was called as there were "possible persons trapped".
But on arrival, it found nobody was trapped - and said crews were there "as a precautionary measure only".
A police spokesperson said: "Road closures remain in place at this time while the vehicle is recovered and checks are made to ensure the building is structurally safe."
A tweet put out by Croxley Rangers earlier this morning said that New Road had been "totally blocked" by emergency services.
Please avoid new road. It is totally blocked by emergency services untill further notice.
